Senior Accounts Receivable & Administration Officer
to join our administration team at Cameron Park.
This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping finance and administration functions running efficiently.
Working closely with the administration team and senior management, you'll take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function while supporting a range of finance and administrative activities across the business. You'll also provide guidance and day-to-day support to a junior administration team member and work collaboratively with our Payroll, HR and Accounts Payable Administrator to ensure seamless coverage across the office.
Responsibilities Include:
Managing the Accounts Receivable function from invoicing through to collections.
Maintaining and providing quotes using Jonel out batching software.
Customer po's management to make sure invoices are correct and paid on time.
Upload documents and maintain customer portals and compliance and procurement platforms.
Work with management and customers to resolve issues, raise credit notes and apply.
Proactive credit control and debt management, including monitoring cedi limits and outstanding payments.
Insurance claims and insurance management.
Assessing and managing new customer credit applications and credit limits.
Maintain regular communications with customers and have good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Understanding and learning our software system MYOB, Jonel, Netcorp, MEX etc
Preparing BAS and Fuel Tax Credit claims.
Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Preparing weekly and monthly management reports
Ordering office stationery, staff uniforms and general office supplies.
Assisting with company communications and marketing activities, including website updates and social media content.
Providing leave coverage for Payroll, HR Administration and Accounts Payable.
Assisting with administrative projects and identifying opportunities to improve business processes.
Assist the general manager across a broad range of administration tasks.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable, Credit Management or Finance Administration role.
Strong credit control and debt collection skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
Experience in accounting including preparing BAS and Fuel Tax Credit claims and bank reconsiliations.
Proficiency using
MYOB
and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and an ability to learn new software thoroughly.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence with communication, training and mentoring of other team members.
The ability to quickly learn new software and business systems.
A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to assist across multiple areas of the business.
