Houndz Paradise is seeking an experienced and dedicated
Animal Attendant / Dog Handler
to join our professional dog daycare team. This position requires a confident, reliable individual with proven experience working hands‐on with groups of dogs in a structured environment.
We are committed to delivering exceptional care, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring every dog in our facility receives attentive, consistent, and enrichment‐focused supervision.

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older to be considered for this position
Valid Australian work authorisation is required for this role
Key Responsibilities
Uphold all centre policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Supervise and manage dog groups with confidence and sound judgement
Monitor behaviour and intervene appropriately to maintain a safe environment
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised facility
Capture clear, high-quality photos/videos for report cards and social media
Communicate effectively with team members and pet parents
Professional dog handling experience is required to effectively manage and supervise dog groups
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience working with groups of dogs
(daycare, training)
Strong understanding of dog behaviour, body language, and secure handling techniques
A professional, proactive, and team‐oriented approach
The physical capability to work in a fast‐paced, active environment
The ability to remain calm, focused, and consistent
The legal right to work in Australia
