Medical Receptionist - Colac Vision Radiology
Full-Time | 38 hours/week | Monday to Friday | Training Provided
Colac Vision Radiology is seeking a friendly, organised, and skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare environment and providing exceptional service to patients.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience from the moment they walk through our door or call our practice.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner
Managing appointment bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations
Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
Processing patient billing, Medicare claims, and private health fund transactions
Maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality of information
Liaising with radiographers, radiologists, and referring doctors
General administrative duties including filing, data entry,



and correspondence
Ensuring the reception and waiting areas are tidy and presentable
What We're Looking For
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly, patient, and professional manner
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Basic computer literacy (training provided on practice-specific software)
Previous reception, customer service, or administration experience is desirable but not essential
Experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
