About the Role
Walton Security
is seeking
Security Escort Officers
who hold a
Baseline Security Clearance
(or are eligible to obtain one) to join our team supporting high-profile government and critical infrastructure sites.
Key Responsibilities
Escort and supervise visitors, contractors, and authorised personnel within secure and restricted areas.
Maintain continuous line of sight with escorted personnel and ensure they remain within approved access zones.
Verify visitor identification and access permissions before entry into secure areas.
Maintain accurate visitor registers, escort logs, and site documentation.
Conduct inspections of visitor belongings in accordance with site security procedures.
Monitor for and report suspicious behaviour, unauthorised access attempts, security incidents, or breaches.
Report security, safety, and equipment issues promptly.




Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Comply with all client site procedures, policies, and security protocols.
Requirements
Applicants must:
Be an Australian Citizen.
Hold a
Baseline Security Clearance
or be eligible and willing to obtain one.
Hold a current Security Licence for the relevant Australian State or Territory.
Hold a current Driver Licence.
Hold current First Aid and CPR Certificates (or be willing to obtain them).
Be available to work a
24/7 rotating roster
, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Be physically capable of walking extended distances during patrols and escort duties.
Successfully complete all required background checks, including employment history, references, residential history, education, and overseas travel where applicable.
Demonstrate excellent communication, observation, and customer service skills.
