We're on a mission to get Australians to expand their flavour horizons and after 40+ years, we proudly lead our category as the #1 brand in Australia. We're a 100% Australian-owned family business that still moves fast, backs bold ideas, and brings new products to life that millions of people put in their trolleys.
We're looking for a Brand Manager to own the innovation lane: the marketing voice that turns consumer insight into product on shelf, balanced with the commercial reality of what sells. If you love shaping NPD from idea to launch (naming, campaign, the lot) and building ideas that stack up commercially, this is your role.
The role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll be the marketing lead on our dedicated innovation projects shaping product ideas into tangible propositions grounded in real consumer and category insight, then driving the brand strategy, communications and activation that bring them to market. Every innovation that reaches shelf should be consumer-centric, brand-right and commercially sound. That's your remit.
This role offers genuine flexibility for the right candidate, if flexibility is a priority for you, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do
Lead the brand on NPD
Act as the primary marketing voice across the product development process, from concept through gate reviews to launch
Bring forward new product ideas and shape them into consumer-centric concepts, backed by qual and quant research where it counts
Own naming, claims, positioning and pack communication and manage artwork with our designer so shelf presence is maximised and on-brand
Input into business cases and launch financials, and prepare gate review materials and stakeholder updates
Build the brand & bring it to market
Develop positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy for the innovation pipeline
Brief and manage agency partners on NPD activation assets, and co-create retail media with the Sales team
Own the social content calendar end to end briefing, day-to-day publishing, and the comms calendar through monthly battle-plan sessions
Manage the NPD activation and digital budget, accountable for spend, tracking and reporting
Report, optimise & support
Track NPD campaigns and digital performance, and turn the numbers into clear what / so-what / now-what recommendations
Represent Marketing in Battle Plan meetings via a live 12-month calendar
Manage monthly marketing budget reconciliation, plus samples, prizes and giveaway fulfilment within budget
What you'll bring
Marketing or business degree, with 3-5 years' marketing experience in FMCG or consumer goods (essential)
Proven experience taking NPD or innovation projects from concept through to launch
Comfortable bringing product ideas forward and shaping them into consumer-centric concepts
Hands-on artwork development experience, and at least one brand or product launch activation led independently
Run a social content calendar without day-to-day direction
Comfortable with commercial data scan data, P&L; and business case inputs
Strong project management and IT skills (Microsoft Office), and a self-starter who can execute from a strategic brief with minimal handholding
Why join us
Impactful role, own innovation on Australia's #1 brand in our category; your work ships, sells, and gets noticed on shelf
Innovative, fast-moving culture where positive ideas don't get stuck in layers of approval
Flexible work arrangements to keep the balance sustainable
A fun, non-hierarchical office where collaboration and creativity thrive and a team that genuinely backs your ideas
Plus the perks:
Extra paid day off on your birthday
On-site free parking
Fortnightly company lunches and monthly birthday celebrations
Social & Wellbeing Committee events
Employee Assistance Program
Quarterly, end-of-year and Christmas events
Plenty of food-related fun at work
