Communications and Engagement Coordinator RWEP
We're looking for an experienced Communications and Engagement Coordinator to coordinate and deliver communication, stakeholder engagement and community outreach activities across this landmark infrastructure project. Working closely with project leaders, customers and communities, you'll play an important role in building understanding, fostering trust and helping people navigate change with confidence.
About the role
Reporting to the Manager Communications & Engagement (RWEP), you'll work as part of a collaborative team to coordinate and deliver communication and engagement activities across the project. You'll provide day-to-day guidance to a small team of Communications and Engagement Officers and work closely with project leaders to ensure customers, stakeholders and communities receive transparent, timely and meaningful information.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the planning and delivery of communication and engagement activities across RWEP.
Develop media materials, digital and social media content, and contribute to media and communication activities that support the project.
Coordinate community engagement programs, events and stakeholder communications.
Provide communications advice and support to project teams.
Ensure communications are consistent, customer-focused and aligned with project priorities.
Monitor feedback and contribute ideas to continuously improve communications and engagement activities.
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Communications and Engagement Officers.
About you:
You'll bring:
Experience delivering communications and stakeholder engagement activities in a project or customer-focused environment.
Strong written communication skills, including preparing clear and engaging content across a range of channels.
The ability to build positive relationships with customers, stakeholders and project teams.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.
Experience working collaboratively and providing guidance or support to colleagues.
A tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
An IAP2 qualification, or a willingness to obtain one, will be highly regarded.

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement **** Band 4 $93,548 - $112,895 plus superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
