Knox Private Hospital is seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses (EN's) to join our dynamic and excellent nursing teams on a full or part time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive cardiac team environment ensuring a high level of patient care. Within this supportive workplace are highly experienced cardiac Nurse Unit Mangers and cardiac educator.
About us
Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
Our theatre complex comprises of 15 theatres including both a Day Procedure Centre and a Hybrid Theatre supporting a range of acute specialties including General, Endoscopy, Colorectal, Bariatric & Liver surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopaedic, Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular, ENT & Paediatric surgery.
As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe, evidence based, high standards of nursing care to our cardiac patients under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support and provide exceptional patient care needs




Act as a role model for Safe Practice in accordance with hospital policy and procedures
Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Provide exceptional patient care for patients both pre and post Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiothoracic surgery
Authority to Work in Australia
Working with Children check
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
Commitment to high Quality Exceptional Patient Care
Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
Able to work off our rotational roster

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the
Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement ****
(Salay range between $***** and $***** + 12.5% Super)
