The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a Principle Platform Engineer to join their team. This role is critical in supporting AEMO's mission to ensure a reliable and affordable energy supply while facilitating the transition towards a sustainable energy future for Australia.

What you'll do
Design and implement scalable platform solutions to enhance AEMO's digital infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve system performance.
Requirements
A minimum of 8 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure.
Strong background in infrastructure automation and orchestration tools.




Excellent understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash.
Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus or ELK Stack.
