Clinical Site Operations Manager - Full Time
Paratus Clinical Research Melbourne is looking for a Clinical Site Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our clinical trial site, ensuring the successful execution of studies while upholding the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and quality.
About the Role
As the Clinical Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and operational leadership of the site. You will manage the site team, oversee financial performance, coordinate study start-up and execution, and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, SOPs, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
This is a key leadership role requiring strategic oversight, strong people management, and hands-on operational support.
The role is full-time and is on-site. However, we are willing to be flexible in terms of hours for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Lead and oversee daily site operations in alignment with Paratus' strategic goals.
Implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
Set and manage site goals for performance and growth.
Ensure studies are delivered within budget and timelines.
Staff Management
Lead, mentor, and support the site team including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
Coordinate staff training (GCP, SOPs, IATA), rosters, leave, and workload.




Conduct regular team meetings and maintain a high-performance culture.
Collaborate with Finance to develop, manage, and review the annual site budget.
Monitor and report on site-level financial performance.
Track study budgets, ad hoc fees, and site-related expenses.
Site & Facility Management
Manage site logistics including supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
Ensure WHS compliance and vendor management (cleaning, waste, etc.).
Maintain site facilities and ensure readiness for inspections and audits.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Hold a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacyor Business Management
Highly desirable: Registered Nurse or Pharmacist qualification
Proven experience in clinical trial site operations or health care setting, ideally in a leadership role.
Experiencing in managing or leading a team
Robust knowledge of ICH-GCP, local and international regulatory guidelines.
Exceptional team leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and commitment to quality.
