Are you an experienced Landscaping Leading Hand looking for a long-term opportunity with a business that genuinely values loyalty, quality workmanship and strong leadership?
Watersave Landscaping is seeking an established Leading Hand to join our growing team, delivering high-quality landscaping projects throughout Melbourne. Competitive hourly rate of $45–$50 per hour plus Super

The Role
As a Leading Hand,



you'll take ownership of projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading crews on site and mentoring apprentices
Coordinating day-to-day site activities
Reading and interpreting landscape plans
Managing project timelines and maintaining quality standards
Liaising with supervisors, suppliers and subcontractors
Ensuring projects remain organised, productive and on schedule
Projects include:
Retaining walls
Paving and concreting
Decking and timber structures
Turf installation and planting
Irrigation systems
Playground construction
Commercial landscape developments
About You
We're interested in speaking with experienced landscapers who have demonstrated stability in previous roles and enjoy building long-term relationships within a team setting.
Ideally, you'll have:
4+ years' experience as a Leading Hand within landscape construction
Proven experience supervising crews and delivering projects successfully
Strong knowledge across hard and soft landscaping
White Card and current driver's licence
Excavator and Bobcat tickets (advantageous)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to quality
