You will supervise and motivate a team of laundry staff, oversee daily laundry operations, and ensure all laundry processes meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness.
As aLaundry Supervisor, you're not just supervising daily laundry and/or uniform operations, you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Supervise day-to-day laundry team operations:Lead, train, and oversee Laundry and Uniform team members to maintain a consistent supply of clean linens and uniforms
Manage uniform distribution:Oversee ordering, distribution, and inventory of team member uniforms
Oversee linen processing:Assign, supervise, and assist with tasks such as collecting, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading, ironing, folding, and storing linens while ensuring proper equipment maintenance
Monitor quality and efficiency:Track linen quality, inventory levels, stain and damage rates, and production reports, ensuring timely rewashing, repairs, and reordering as needed




Optimize productivity:Assign machinery, equipment, and work areas while maintaining productivity records, including hourly production metrics

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry
Familiarity with various laundry equipment and cleaning techniques.
A keen eye for quality and precision in laundry services.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective interpersonal skills to interact with team and management.
