Poppy's Home Care

Western Australia

Come and Experience the Poppy's Difference.
At Poppy's Home Care, we believe aged care should feel exactly that — caring.
We are a proudly nurse-led, family-owned home care provider, built on relationships, trust, and supporting older adults to continue living safely and confidently in the place they love most — their home.
Our growth has been driven almost entirely by word-of-mouth referrals — something we are incredibly proud of — and as a result, we are expanding our scheduling team and seeking an additional experienced client focused scheduler to join the Poppy's team.
This is not just another Scheduling role.
It is an opportunity to reconnect with the reason you chose a career in care.
This role will involve coordinating and scheduling services for clients, supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, and assisting with general administration tasks.
You will work closely with the Care Partners, Home Care Team Members, and leadership team to ensure services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with client needs.
This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organisation, problem-solving ability, and confidence using multiple systems throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating and scheduling client services across the community
Managing roster changes, cancellations, and urgent service adjustments
Supporting communication between clients, families, and care staff

Monitoring schedules and ensuring services are appropriately allocated
Assisting with onboarding and administration processes
Supporting documentation and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with phone enquiries and general office coordination
Working collaboratively with the broader Poppy's team
What We're Looking For
Strong organisation and time management skills
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and manage competing priorities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Confidence using technology, including Outlook, Microsoft Office, Teams, and multiple systems simultaneously
Robust typing and administration skills with attention to detail
Minimum typing speed of 40+ words per minute preferred
Ability to document notes and updates accurately and efficiently
Comfortable working across multiple screens and computer systems throughout the day
Applicants will be required to complete an online Microsoft and administration skills assessment as part of the recruitment process
Successful applicants must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of computer systems, typing, and general office software capabilities
A proactive and supportive approach to both clients and colleagues
Experience in scheduling is a must
Administration, rostering, or community care would be highly regarded
Pay: From $65,****** per year
Experience:
Scheduling: 1 year (Required)
Work Location: In person
