Home Migration Services The Systems Administrator will be responsible for administering, monitoring and supporting The Battery Guys' computer systems, networks, servers, software platforms and related IT infrastructure.
The role will ensure that business systems operate securely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to daily operations.

installing, configuring, maintaining and administering computer systems, servers, networks and related IT infrastructure;
monitoring system performance, availability, security and reliability across the business;
administering user accounts, access permissions, email systems, devices and business software applications;
diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network and system faults;
implementing data backup, recovery, cyber security and disaster recovery procedures;
maintaining system documentation, configuration records, asset registers and IT support procedures;
supporting business applications used for sales, inventory, customer management, ordering, logistics and administration;
managing updates, patches, anti-virus protection,



endpoint security and system maintenance;
supporting staff with IT issues and providing technical guidance to improve system use;
liaising with external IT vendors, software providers and telecommunications suppliers;
identifying opportunities to improve system efficiency, automation, data security and operational reliability;
assisting with IT procurement, equipment setup and deployment of new systems or upgrades;
ensuring compliance with relevant data security, privacy and business continuity requirements; and
reporting to management on IT risks, system performance, support issues and recommended improvements.
Qualification & experience Skills and Experience Required Applicants must have:
at least one year of relevant full-time experience as a Systems Administrator or in a closely related IT systems administration role;
experience administering computer systems, networks, user accounts and business software;
strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking and cloud-based systems;
knowledge of system security, backup procedures, access controls and IT support processes;
ability to work independently and manage competing technical priorities;
strong communication skills and the ability to support non-technical staff; and
strong attention to detail in maintaining IT documentation and system records.
Qualifications A relevant qualification in information technology, computer systems, networking, systems administration or a related field will be highly regarded.
