Our client is a well-established and respected galvanizing company based inPadstowand is currently seeking a reliable and motivatedTrade Assistantto join their busy team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys hands-on work, and is looking to build a long-term career in the manufacturing industry.
Duties include:
Assisting fabricators with the preparation and assembly of steel products
Using a variety of hand and power tools
General workshop duties and housekeeping
Moving materials throughout the workshop
Supporting the production team to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
To be successful you will have:
A mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools
Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or trade workplace (preferred)
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn




The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A high level of physical fitness, as the role involves being on your feet and walking throughout the day
A commitment to workplace health and safety
