The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Welder/Pipework Fabricator
with 3-5 years' experience to join our team, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Engineering. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality fabrication and pipework solutions by welding, assembling, and installing metal structures, equipment, and piping systems. Your expertise will ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Read and interpret technical, spool, and isometric drawings accurately.
Select, prepare, cut, and clean materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper).
Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and roll‐grooving.
Complete pre‐fabrication modular systems (i.e. pumps,
chillers and others) of structural steel, pipe systems, supports, brackets, and hangers.
Install equipment such as pumps, chillers, and tanks for modular assembly.
Ensure fabricated systems meet quality standards and industry codes.
Support onsite installation and repair of fabricated and welded systems.
Work across varied site conditions, including confined or elevated spaces.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in pipework fabrication.
Strong welding and fabrication technical skills.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
Physically fit for manual handling and challenging environments.
Strong problem‐solving abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Current driver's licence
Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card).
High‐risk licenses (forklift, EWP, working at heights) preferred.
