About the Role
As a General Practitioner with Galangoor, you will:
Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services




Focus on preventative care and chronic disease management
Provide culturally responsive care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Work collaboratively with Health Workers, Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health and community stakeholders
Support clinical leadership and continuous service improvement
Build long-term therapeutic relationships with patients and families
This is an opportunity to practice medicine with purpose while contributing to Closing the Gap initiatives and improving community health outcomes.
About You
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable GP who values relationship-based care and community engagement.
Essential Requirements
MBBS with unrestricted AHPRA registration
Minimum 3 years' medical experience
RACGP Fellowship or ACCRM
Eligibility for unrestricted Medicare Provider Number
Commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
Experience in complex condition management
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to patient-centred care
Highly Regarded
Experience working within an ACCHO
GP Supervisor accreditation or willingness to supervise
Understanding of social determinants of health
Passion for improving Indigenous health outcomes
