We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality food, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to a positive and efficient team setting.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Chef de Partie to take ownership of a section and continue developing their skills within a energetic and professional kitchen focused on quality, consistency, and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality dishes in a timely manner
Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation
Take ownership of a designated section and ensure its smooth operation
Support the wider kitchen team during service and event execution
Lead sections during weddings, events, and high-volume service periods
Assist with menu execution, recipe preparation, and food presentation
Support stock control, ordering, and storage of food supplies
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations




Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff where applicable
Work collaboratively to maintain a positive team culture
Contribute to efficient service periods and smooth kitchen operations
Contribute to continuous improvement of kitchen systems and processes
Skills & Experience
Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Certificate IV)
Experience working as a Chef de Partie or solid experience as a Commis Chef ready to progress
Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to lead a section and support junior team members
