About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Biomedical Engineer or mechanically minded technician looking to build a long-term career in a specialised and essential area of healthcare.
Working closely with experienced technicians, you will support the testing, maintenance and servicing of medical systems and devices, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and contributing directly to patient safety.
Duties




Conduct routine testing of medical devices in line with AS**** and AS****
Perform maintenance and servicing of medical systems & devices
Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting of system issues
Carry out outlet and pressure testing
Complete digital service reports, documentation and records
Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Support inventory management of tools, equipment and spare parts
Liaise professionally with healthcare staff on-site
Participate in ongoing training and development
Skills and Experience
Qualification in Biomedical, Engineering or a Trade (Australian qualification is a must have)
Experience working with medical devices or in a hospital setting
Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
Good problem-solving and trouble-shootingskills
Confident using computers for reporting and documentation
Strong communication skills and qualified presentation
Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
Willingness to obtain additional specialist certifications
Full Driving Licence and ability to travel.
