The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a part-time (FTE 0.6) Secondary Music Teacher to commence at the start of ****. The FTE may be negotiable for the successful applicant, considering ensemble commitments and the capacity to contribute to other curriculum areas.
We are seeking a candidate who has experience directing and conducting instrumental and/or vocal ensembles and organising a range of music performance events, including concerts, soirées and ensemble showcases. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience teaching Music and developing engaging elective Music programs for students in Years 7 – 10. They will also have experience teaching digital composition, or a willingness to develop their skills in this area. Experience working within classroom-based band programs and/or school orchestral programs will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must:
Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
Be able to teach Music from Year 7 – 10.
Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities
