Programs and Community Engagement Officer

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering engaging programs and activities that inspire lifelong learning and support community wellbeing across Council's libraries. The position plays a key role in supporting a diverse range of library programs and outreach activities, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, and contributing to the dynamic delivery, promotion and coordination of service-wide programs.

What this role looks like:
Deliver high quality customer service in a high volume quick paced environment
Plan and coordinate the delivery of programs and activities that support lifelong learning and community wellbeing across the libraries.




Work with external providers to ensure supply meets agreed standards, procurement processes are adhered to and necessary documentation is verified.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
Tertiary qualifications in Library & Information Services or related field or currently undertaking
First Aid and CPR Certificate
Working with Children Check
