We're looking for a
Housekeeping 2IC/Room Attendant
to support our Executive Housekeeper as we continue to grow our newly established in-house housekeeping team.
This role will
initially be offered on a casual basis
, averaging
approximately ***** hours per week
, with the
opportunity to transition to permanent part-time for the right person
following a successful probationary period. Employment is paid in accordance with the
Hospitality Industry (General) Award (HIGA).
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for an experienced Room Attendant ready to step into supervision or an existing Housekeeping Supervisor looking for a supportive team and genuine career progression.
You'll work alongside the Executive Housekeeper to ensure exceptional presentation, quality and productivity across the hotel.
Responsible for the Supervision of the housekeeping operation every
Saturday and Sunday
Preparing guest apartments as a Room Attendant and supporting the Executive Housekeeper 2-3 shifts per week




Conducting room inspections and coaching team members
Covering the Executive Housekeeper during annual leave and other planned absences
Assisting with rostering, onboarding and training of new team members
Completing general maintenance, houseperson and public area duties as required
Assisting with linen distribution, stock control and housekeeping operations
Ensuring Quest's quality, presentation and safety standards are consistently achieved
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys leading by example and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves.
You'll bring:
Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel or serviced apartment environment
Previous supervisory or team leader experience (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
A positive, hands‐on approach to leadership
The ability to motivate and support a team
Basic maintenance or houseperson experience is highly regarded
Ongoing full working rights in Australia
