About the Role
As an Immigration Lawyer, you will provide legal advice and manage a wide range of Australian migration matters while working closely with our Registered Migration Agents.
You will be responsible for handling complex migration matters, preparing legal submissions,



advising clients, and representing their interests throughout the migration process.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on Australian migration law and policy.
Manage a diverse caseload including:Employer Sponsored Visas
Skilled Migration
Student Visas
Partner Visas
Visitor Visas
Family Visas
Business & Investment Visas
Citizenship Applications
Bridging Visas
Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) matters
Ministerial Intervention and Judicial Review matters (desirable)
Prepare high-quality legal submissions and supporting documents.
Conduct legal research and interpret migration legislation, regulations, policy and case law.
Maintain communication with the Department of Home Affairs, clients and external stakeholders.
Supervise and mentor junior migration staff where appropriate.
Ensure all matters comply with professional and ethical obligations.
Essential Criteria
Admitted as a Solicitor in Australia with a current Practising Certificate.
Strong knowledge of Australian Migration Law.
Minimum 2 years' experience in immigration law or migration practice preferred.
Excellent legal drafting and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines.
High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Excellent client service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable
Experience with ART reviews and litigation.
Experience with employer-sponsored migration.
Experience using ImmiAccount and migration management software.
Multilingual skills are highly regarded.
