Assessment Lead – Occupational Therapy
to become one of the first clinical connections families experience as they begin their journey with us. This role is far more than completing assessments — it is about helping families feel seen, heard and understood during one of life's most significant transitions.
About the Role
As the
Assessment Lead – Occupational Therapy
, you will conduct pre-admission clinical and psychosocial assessments for prospective residents across Videri homes. Working closely with the Family Relationship Manager and Sales and Engagement Team, you will help determine the right home for each person by considering their clinical needs, life story, relationships, routines and aspirations.
This role involves travelling to homes, hospitals and community settings, supporting families through the admission journey while championing Videri's
Right Resident, Right Home
philosophy.
This is a
part-time role (3 days per week).
Key Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive clinical and psychosocial assessments.
Develop Interim Flourishing Plans and transition recommendations.
Recommend the most suitable Videri home based on individual needs and compatibility.
Build trusted relationships with residents and families.
Partner with Sales and Enter, Clinical and Home Teams to support seamless admissions.




Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with aged care and NDIS standards.

Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience in aged care, dementia care, rehabilitation, community or sub-acute settings.
Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills across physical, cognitive, functional and psychosocial domains.
Experience completing comprehensive assessments and person-centred recommendations.
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to confidently support placement recommendations and complex decision making.
Strong documentation and report writing skills.
Ability to travel across Videri homes, hospitals and community locations.
Current Australian Driver Licence.
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Desirable
Experience conducting pre-admission or occupancy assessments within residential aged care.
Experience supporting people living with dementia using contemporary evidence-based approaches.
Knowledge of Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and aged care reform.
Understanding of the Rementia Framework and contemporary dementia care models.
Experience contributing to admissions, occupancy or customer journey processes.
