Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable
Subcontract Kitchen Cabinet "Knock-Up" Assembler
to join our Victorian team through the Geelong to Warnambool area.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and can work independently across multiple building sites.
About the Role
As a subcontractor, you will be responsible for preparing kitchens for installation by pre-assembling cabinets, drawers and hardware on-site before our installation teams complete the final fit-off.
Your responsibilities will include:
Pre-assembling flat-pack kitchen cabinetry ready for installation
Building and squaring cabinets to manufacturer specifications
Installing drawers, runners, hinges and internal hardware
Checking components against plans and identifying any missing or damaged items
Maintaining a clean,



organised and safe work area
Completing required paperwork and job documentation
Communicating regularly with the Site Installation Supervisor regarding job progress or issues
Representing Claytons professionally on customer building sites
What We're Looking For
To be successful you will have:
Previous experience assembling kitchen cabinetry, furniture or flat-pack joinery
Ability to confidently use battery-operated power tools
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Ability to work independently while managing your own workload
A positive, reliable and professional attitude
Current Construction White Card
Current Australian Driver Licence
Own reliable transport suitable for travelling between building sites
Own basic hand and battery tools preferred
ABN and appropriate insurances (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
