Keith Engineering Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Fitter, we are a growing company servicing the rendering industry with our machine shop producing new and replacement parts for the rendering plant machinery we manufacture on site.
We have a modern workshop comprising a machine shop and a fabrication shop with a dedicated fitting assembly section.
Minimum of 3-5 years fitting experience is required for this position.
We are ultimately looking for a Fitter able to assemble our new machinery and also service our machine rework of existing used equipment
Job tasks & responsibilities of the Role
Ability to read, comprehend and apply engineering drawings
High level communications and interpersonal skills
The ability to work as part of a team
Assembly of bearings, V belt assemblies,



motor mounting and general machine assembly/disassembly
Strip down, fault find, measure and report on used equipment through our reconditioning service
High level record keeping
Knowledge of manual lathe and mill operation an advantage.
Ability and willingness to further their knowledge and skills with additional training
