The Opportunity
We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our Design & Engineering team, based at our Henderson facility.
This is a genuine entry-level opportunity for a recently qualified drafter/designer who is keen to learn and grow.
Working under the guidance of our Design Coordinator and senior Designers, you'll help create the 3D models and 2D drawings behind our structural and piping projects — building your skills on real work, with experienced mentors alongside you.
It's a role built for someone fresh to the workforce who brings the right attitude, with a clear pathway to grow into a Designer and, in time, a Senior Designer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist senior Designers to prepare and update 3D models for structural and piping scopes, working from survey and scan data.
Produce and revise 2D drawings under direction, to Australian Standards (AS ****) and our drawing standards and templates.
Action mark-ups and drawing amendments as directed.
Help maintain drawing registers, revision records and job folders.




Learn our internal design review and approval process as you develop.
What we are Looking for/ Minimum Position Requirements
• A completed Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting (MEM*****) or Diploma of Engineering – Technical (or equivalent).
Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine eagerness to learn — this role is about aptitude and attitude, not years of experience.
Good communication and teamwork, and competent use of Microsoft Office (including Excel).
Eligibility to work in Australia.
A bonus (but not essential): exposure to any of AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk ReCap, Autodesk Advance Steel or Autodesk Vault.
