Looking for casual support workers who are willing to travel for shifts
Location: Doolandella, Newport, Moorooka, Redcliffe, Flinders View, East Brisbane

Skills & Experience - Must already have experience or the following documents
Manual handling
Personal care
First aid
CPR
Blue Card
Yellow card
Police check
Driver's licence
Car insurance
Car registration
You must be adaptable, confident, and committed to building your capability in complex support settings.
Shifts operate 24/7, including active night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Assist participants with personal care and daily living tasks
Support participants to attend appointments and access the community
Encourage skill development, independence,



and community participation
Implement individualised support and care plans
Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours (where applicable)
Maintain accurate shift notes, progress notes, and incident documentation
Follow NDIS Practice Standards, ADC policies, and procedures
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and Behaviour Support Practitioners
What You'll Be Doing
Assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping
Supporting participants in SIL and supported accommodation environments, including overnight and active night shifts
Providing companionship and supporting recreational, social, and goal-based activities
Advocating for participant needs to ensure holistic and person-centred care
Accurately documenting client progress, incidents, and support delivery
About You
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (preferred) but not essential
Experience working with people with disability (desirable), particularly psychosocial disability or complex needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
Flexible, resilient, and adaptable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience assisting clients with medication
