CN - Mackay Base - Continuing Care Team (Mental Health)
Mackay Base Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse (Grade 6) to join the Continuing Care Team within Mental Health at Mackay Community Health Centre.
This is a six-week contract running from 10 August to 20 September ****, with the possibility of extension.
Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, you'll deliver community-based mental health care to a diverse caseload.
The role offers up to 80 hours per fortnight on a salary of AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, with weekends and public holidays off.

Preferred Requirements




Demonstrated experience in mental health community case management
Competence in completing electrocardiograms (ECGs)
Ability to administer intramuscular (IM) injections safely and confidently
Sound knowledge of mental health assessment and care planning in a community setting
Robust communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Familiarity with Queensland Health systems, including ieMR and CHIMA database
Knowledge of the Mental Health Act **** and previous experience working within Queensland Health or Mackay Health and Hospital Service
