Based in Bangalow, just minutes from Byron Bay, our hospital offers the opportunity to practise high-quality emergency medicine without sacrificing balance, wellbeing, or lifestyle.
The Prospect We're seeking an experienced ECC Veterinarian or a confident GP vet ready to step into emergency medicine to join our supportive and close-knit team.
You'll manage a diverse small animal emergency caseload, supported by experienced ECC vets and nurses, modern diagnostics, and a collaborative team environment where you're never truly on your own.
What The Role Looks Like Evening, overnight, and weekend shiftsPermanent part-time or full-time options (Casual also considered)No orthopaedic surgery (complex cases referred to AES Carrara)Access to ultrasound, endoscopy, ventilators, and advanced monitoringStrong ECC mentorship; GP vets with solid foundations encouraged to apply Why AES North Coast?

What We Offer Permanent rates $60–$75 per hour or $119,000–$149,000 p.a.
