In addition to the base rate, a 29% loading is payable in lieu of payments in the Award for work on afternoon and night shifts, weekends, public holidays, on call, annual leave loading and uniform and laundry allowances.

About the Opportunity
Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is seeking passionate midwives to join our Midwifery Group Practice (MGP).
Midwifery Group Practices a continuity of care model where patient care is provided by a small team of dedicated midwives who partner with women to support their entire pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.
Patients participating in this care model have a primary midwife who they see for the majority of their care.
To be a Registered Midwife in the MGP you will share the view that pregnancy and childbirth is a normal, natural life event and the dedicated care you provide reflects this philosophy.
As a registered midwife within MGP, you will be responsible for:
Delivering safe, high quality, person centred care in line with professional standards, policies and evidence based practice
Assessing patient needs and developing, implementing and evaluating plans of care, adapting practice to suit a rural health environment
Collaborating and partnering closely with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic,



community-focused care
Building robust relationships with patients, families and the local community to support continuity of care
