We are seeking an experienced
Fibre Technician
to join our team in a
full-time employee role .
The Role
This position involves working
independently in the field
to deliver FTTP installations across residential and commercial developments.
We provide the work
- you will be responsible for
planning and managing your daily schedule, optimising travel routes, and ensuring all allocated jobs are completed to a high standard
, with full operational and technical support from our office team.
You must be comfortable working
autonomously
as well as
collaboratively within a team environment
when required, and be




willing to travel across South-East Queensland on an ad-hoc basis
.
Key Responsibilities
Perform FTTP installations, testing, and commissioning
Install PCDs, NTDs, lead-ins, and internal fibre cabling
Carry out fault finding and restoration works
Undertake minor civil works (starter conduits, clearing minor blockages, etc.)
Maintain accurate job documentation and quality standards
Represent the company professionally on site
About You
Minimum 1 years' experience in fibre or telecommunications
Open Cabler's Licence with Optical Fibre endorsement
NBN Enable Card
White Card and current driver's licence
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
Strong work ethic and qualified attitude
Able to work
independently
and also
as part of a team
Able to effectively manage your own workload and schedule
Highly regarded (but not essential):
Civil works experience
Fibre splicing experience or willingness to be trained
NBN Ready (must have or be willing to obtain):
First Aid / CPR
Traffic Management Implementation Card
NBN Skills 9 + 12
Gas Test Atmospheres
Police Check & AML check
