About the Role
AsProduction Manager, you will lead daily manufacturing operations to deliver safe, efficient and high‐quality products.
You will collaborate withSalesandEngineeringto execute bespoke and fleet projects, manage costs and foster a high‐performance, safety‐first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee production planning, scheduling, and workflow management to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
Supervise production team to maintain productivity and quality assurance levels
Drive efficiency across labour, equipment, materials, and operational processes
Manage production priorities and resolve bottlenecks, delays, and operational issues as they arise
Implement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency and fleet reliability
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, training, and process improvements
Generate monthly financial statements for all projects, with clear reporting of cost variances against budget
Conduct annual performance reviews for production staff against KPI's
Demonstrate visible and proactive leadership in promoting a safe and healthy work environment
Ensure personal and team compliance with all relevant WHS legislation, regulations, and company policies
Ensure appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance with safety standards
Maintain ISO standards across Safety, Quality,
and Environmental management systems, including oversight of non‐conformance reports and continuous improvement opportunities
What We're Looking For
Trade Qualification or equivalent
OH&S; qualification Cert 4 or above
Strong people management and communication skills
Ability to manage trade personnel across multiple disciplines
Experience in lean manufacturing processes 5S (desirable)
Experience with ISO processes (desirable)
Three years' experience in a supervisory/leadership role
Demonstrates a pro‐active, professional and customer (internal/external) service focused attitude and communication style
Strong organisational and administrative skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and competing priorities
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
