Homewood Care is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Part-Time Accounts Officer
to join our administration team. This position is primarily responsible for Accounts Payable, resident sundry charges, financial administration and departmental correspondence while providing administrative support to the CEO and Accounts & Billing Officer.
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, accuracy, professionalism and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-oriented team environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Certificate in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Administration role.
Proficiency in MYOB and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Desirable
Knowledge of the Innerva aged care management system.
Experience working within the aged care sector.
Key Performance Indicators
Supplier invoices processed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
Monthly creditor reconciliations completed accurately.
Supplier payments prepared and processed by due dates.
Accurate and up-to-date MYOB and Innerva records.
Resident sundry charges recorded accurately for monthly billing.
Departmental correspondence completed promptly and accurately.
Positive and professional relationships maintained with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality of all financial and organisational information.
Comply with Homewood Care policies, procedures and financial controls.
Support Work Health and Safety requirements.
Demonstrate professionalism, accountability and attention to detail.
Contribute positively to the Homewood Care team culture.
Undertake other reasonable duties consistent with the position.
