Toukley Medical Services is looking for experienced, highly organisedSenior Medical Receptionistto join our friendly, patient-focused team across all three of our practice sites: Warnervale GP Super Clinic, Toukley Family Practice and Mariners Medical Centre.
In this key front-of-house role, you'll provide exceptional customer service and high-quality administrative support to our Doctors and Nurses, helping keep our busy clinics running smoothly.
About the role
Greet and assist patients in a warm, professional manner
Schedule and manage appointments (in person and by phone) using Best Practice
Process private billing, Workers Compensation accounts, and Medicare claims
Respond to patient enquiries promptly and provide outstanding service
Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and documentation
Provide high-level administrative support to Doctors and Nurses
Manage incoming correspondence (faxes), scan and file reports, and support debtor account follow-up
About you
Recent experience in a senior medical receptionist role
Strong proficiency with Best Practice (or similar clinical software)
Proactive and reliable, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Sound understanding of theMedicare Benefits Schedule (MBS)




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Solid organisation and time management skills with attention to detail
Availability for part-time or casual hours, including rotating Saturdays
A calm, compassionate and professional approach with a commitment to outstanding patient care
Current driver licence and a reliable vehicle
