Role Description The Electrical BIM Engineer is responsible for developing and managing electrical BIM models for building projects, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project standards.
This full-time, on-site role is based in Maadi, QLD, and involves close collaboration with structural, architectural, and MEP teams to resolve clashes and maintain coordinated multidisciplinary models.
Day-to-day tasks include producing detailed construction and shop drawings, updating models based on design changes, and extracting quantities and specifications from BIM workflows.
The Electrical BIM Engineer also supports design review,



participates in coordination meetings, and contributes to improving modeling standards and templates.
The role requires consistent on-site communication with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and technical quality.
Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills, including model creation, coordination, clash detection, and information management.Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings, including preparing detailed layouts, shop drawings, and documentation from BIM and 2D inputs.Candidates should possess Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) skills, with emphasis on electrical systems design, routing, and coordination within multidisciplinary models.Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Architecture and Civil Engineering to understand building layouts, structural systems, and interdisciplinary coordination.Relevant qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, experience with BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks, and familiarity with international and local electrical standards.Additional beneficial skills include attention to detail, ability to interpret technical documents, effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, and robust organizational and time management capabilities.
