Base Salary + Superannuation + Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging (up to $18,550 of your salary tax-free).
5 Weeks Annual Leave (FTE) + 17.5% leave loading + pay during our annual office closure week.

About our role
Deliverindividualisedpsychosocial assessments which includean initialinterview and the completion of surveys that will helpidentifyneeds and level of wellbeing.
Provide ongoing individual support to Young People which may include the provision of evidence-based counselling interventions, psychoeducation, care coordination and therapeutic case management and support accessing otherspecialisedservices internal and external to Canteen.
Liaise with hospital social work teams, oncology staff, outpatient clinics,schoolsand the wider community toestablishand build effective cancer, medical and psychosocial networks, and ensure they receive up-to-date information about Canteen services and activities on a regular basis.
In collaboration with state and national teams, develop andfacilitateeducational and recreation camps, programs and outings, weekend activities, and other programs in response to the Young People's needs.




Ensure Young Peoples' involvement in each area of operation is a priority, and that opportunities to access andparticipatein programsisencouragedin accordance witha young person's level of need.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or related Allied Health Field.
Eligibility for membership/registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. AASW, AHPRA, PACFA).
Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group-based psychosocial support.
Proven ability to work effectively with young people and families.
Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Warm, compassionate, and friendly approach to supporting our young people.
