APG Workforce is seeking an experienced
Project Engineer (Civil)
to support the delivery of major transport infrastructure projects based in
Nerang
.
This is a
12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of a further 12-month extension
, offering the chance to contribute to significant road infrastructure programs within a government workplace.
Reporting to the Project Manager (Preconstruction), you will provide technical expertise and project delivery support across transport infrastructure projects, assisting with planning, coordination, contract administration, stakeholder management and project controls.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Project Manager/Team Leader in the delivery of transport infrastructure projects
Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgets, forecasts and risk management
Conduct site visits and provide technical input at project meetings
Manage project documentation, reporting and compliance requirements
Support procurement activities, contractor management and consultant engagement
Assist with contract administration including variations, extensions of time and claims
Monitor project costs, progress payments and financial reporting
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with quality and environmental standards

Mandatory Requirements
Four-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) accredited under the Washington Accord or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia
Current Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) registration
Minimum 8 years' experience delivering transport infrastructure projects
Current Class C Driver's Licence
Construction Industry White Card (or equivalent)
Ability to successfully complete a criminal history check
