About the Role:
We are currently seeking skilled Local MC (Multi Combination) Drivers to join our Sydney operations team, based in Smithfield NSW.
As a Local MC Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and productive delivery of goods to our customers while upholding our commitment to safety and professionalism.
$***** Per Hour (Ordinary Hours) Plus Superannuation
Overtime & Allowances at Award Rates
Responsibilities:
Safely operate MC vehicles for local freight collections and deliveries.
Operate other company vehicles within the fleet where required to support operational requirements.
Complete deliveries in a safe, timely and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service
Conduct load restraint checks throughout the journey and prior to departure to ensure freight remains secure and compliant.
Secure freight following proper handling procedures and CoR obligations.
Assist with general yard operations including equipment movements.




Adhere to designated routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Conduct pre-start, in-transit and post-trip inspections of all assigned vehicles, reporting defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
Comply with all relevant transport legislation, safety regulations and company policies, including fatigue management, traffic laws and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation including delivery paperwork, local runsheets and any required operational records.
Work collaboratively with the operations and yard team to ensure reliable service delivery.
Requirement:
MC (Multi Combination) licence & driving experience.
Bulk Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence (highly desirable) –or willingness to obtain.
Safety focused and a commitment to compliance.
A strong driving record.
A current National Police Check.
If Successful you will be required to provide the following
:
Current MC licence.
DG license (if held).
Driving history extract.
A current National Police Check will be required prior to commencement of employment.
