About the role:
As a Trainee Educator, you will:
Learn alongside experienced Early Childhood Professionals.
Complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Build nurturing, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
Support the implementation of engaging learning experiences based on children's interests.
Assist with daily routines while maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming learning environment.
Work collaboratively within a large professional team.
Contribute to maintaining our Exceeding National Quality Standard practices.

Essential requirements:
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
Ability to undertake a full-time traineeship.
Current references.
A genuine passion for working with children.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours when working with children and the ability to uphold the service's Code of Conduct and Child Secure practices.
Capacity to identify, respond to and report concerns relating to child safety, wellbeing or risk of harm.
Commitment to ongoing professional learning in child protection, child secure practices and safeguarding responsibilities.
Strong values aligned with respectful relationships, teamwork, professionalism and ethical practice.
