If you're an experienced Motor Assessor, Panel Beater or Automotive Spray Painter ready to move away from the tools, this is an opportunity to turn your industry knowledge into a rewarding career in motor insurance.

Who will you be working with?

You'll work alongside experienced claims and motor professionals in a collaborative team environment, reporting to a supportive Motor Assessing Team Leader. What will you be doing?
Manage allocated motor claims from assessment through to repair outcomes
Assess vehicle damage through virtual assessments and supplier reports
Determine causation, coverage, damage and appropriate repair methods
Review repair scopes and provide accurate, cost-effective recommendations
Prepare and review damage repair quotes and estimates
Build robust relationships with repairers and internal stakeholders
Negotiate repair scopes, costs and outcomes with repair networks
Deliver quality customer and stakeholder outcomes throughout the claims process
What do you need?
Panel Beating or Automotive Spray Painting qualification, or relevant experience
Previous experience in motor assessing, repair estimating or a related role
Strong understanding of vehicle damage and repair processes
Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
Robust computer literacy and willingness to embrace technology
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commercial decision-making skills
Full working rights in Australia
Willingness to complete background checks and paid training
Flexibility to work across Sydney assessment centres when required
