Centre Director (Full-Time Permanent)
We are currently representing a well-established and highly regarded early learning centre in the Mackay region, committed to providing exceptional care and education for children while fostering a positive, supportive workplace for the team.
We are currently seeking a passionate Centre Director to lead our dedicated team in a full-time permanent position.

About the Role
Provide strong leadership, guidance and support to a team of educators.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring high-quality education and care.
Foster a positive, collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and all relevant legislative requirements.
Drive continuous quality improvement and lead the centre through Assessment and Rating processes.
Manage enrolments, occupancy, staffing and rostering to support the ongoing success of the service.
Mentor, coach and develop educators,



supporting their professional growth and career progression.
About You
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
Previous experience as a Centre Director or Assistant Director within an early childhood setting.
Strong leadership, organisational and people management skills.
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and relevant legislation.
A proven ability to build positive relationships with families, children and educators.
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
