Wesley Hyperbaric is Australia's only licensed and accredited day hospital specialising in hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Located on the campus of Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower, our standalone facility is well-suited to a Brisbane-based clinician seeking clinical exposure without the standard public hospital burnout.

Lifestyle & Balance:
We offer tailored Full-Time or Part time (up to 1.0 FTE) contracts. Our operational hours are 07:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, with no on-call, evening, or weekend requirements.
Training:
We are accredited for training with the South Pacific Underwater Medical Society (SPUMS) for the Diploma of Hyperbaric Medicine.
Specialty Support:
We provide support through the two-week ANZCA course and a required six-month placement, ideal for candidates preparing for ANZCA, FACEM, CICM, or SET examinations.
Research & Innovation:
Participate in helping to grow our research and outreach capabilities.




The Clinical Scope
Working under a multidisciplinary team of Specialist Anaesthetists and Emergency Physicians, your duties include:
Acute Care:
Managing failed grafts, flaps, and ischaemic injuries.
Specialised Clinics:
Treating radiation injuries and contributing to our advanced wound clinic.
Dive Medicine:
Performing recreational and commercial dive medicals.
Operations:
Triaging referrals and managing notes on an electronic medical record platform.
About You
We are seeking a motivated Medical Registrar or senior RMO who is AHPRA registered and interested in diving or physiological medicine. You are looking for a role that offers professional growth and a formal postgraduate qualification without compromising on work-life balance.
