Seeking an experienced SAP Business One Functional Lead to provide hands‐on functional support, leadership, and guidance across its SAP B1 environment. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP Business One core business processes, solid accounting and finance knowledge, and the ability to lead configuration, enhancements, integrations, and testing in a structured and business‐focused manner.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Functional Leadership

/n

/n

- Act as the functional authority for SAP Business One across finance, sales, purchasing, and ...

/n

- Provide leadership in determining the best functional approach for system configuration, enhancements, and integrations.

/n

- Partner with business stakeholders to define and improve end‐to‐end business processes.

/n

- Establish and track key business and system metrics to support decision making.

/n/n

Finance and Accounting Support

/n

/n

- 1. Provide expert functional support across accounting, finance, and accrual processes.

/n

- 2. Explain and validate COGS calculations at SKU level.

/n

- 3. Support audits and reconciliations through comparative reporting within SAP Business One.

/n

- 4. Assist business users in understanding financial postings and system behaviour.

/n/n

Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory Support

/n

/n

- 1. Support pricing structures including price lists, customer specific discounts, and sales

/n

- 2. Answer operational queries related to inventory location, including use of virtual warehouses.

/n

- 3. Support purchasing and sales workflows and ensure data accuracy across transactions.

/n

- 4. Generate ad hoc and comparative reports to validate and audit system data.

/n/n

MRP and Future Capability

/n

/n

- 1. Provide functional input into MRP capabilities as part of Homart's next stage of system maturity.

/n

- 2.



Support readiness activities for future adoption of MRP functionality, even if not currently active.

/n/n

System Configuration and Enhancements

/n

/n

- 1. Lead functional configuration within SAP Business One aligned to business requirements.

/n

- 2. Work closely with technical teams on enhancements, automations, and integrations.

/n

- 3. Ensure Boyum add‐ons, automations, and UI configurations are correctly designed, maintained, and optimised.

/n/n

Testing and Quality Assurance

/n

/n

- • Define structured testing approaches for enhancements and changes.

/n

- • Develop test scenarios and acceptance criteria aligned to business processes.

/n

- • Support and oversee functional testing to ensure quality outcomes before release.

/n/n

Reporting and Analysis

/n

/n

- • Quickly generate reports to validate data, investigate issues, and support audit activities.

/n

- • Support business users with insights from SAP Business One reporting and queries.

/n/n

Mandatory Qualifications

/n

/n

- Proven hands on SAP Business One functional experience.

/n

- Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and accruals.

/n

- Deep functional knowledge of sales, purchasing, and inventory processes in SAP B1.

/n

- Experience with pricing, discounts, COGS, and inventory valuation.

/n

- Experience working with Boyum add‐ons, automations, and UI configurations.

/n

- Ability to independently analyse issues and provide clear functional guidance.

/n

- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex system behaviour in simple terms.

/n/n
