Rolleston Open Cut is a 16Mtpa thermal coal mine located in the southern Bowen Basin in Central Queensland. With a long life of mine and low operating costs, the mine has a bright outlook. Since 2005, we have grown to become one of the largest surface mines in Australia, whilst continuing to foster a culture underpinned by safety, achievement, flexibility and teamwork to improve the skills of each and every person on the mine site every day.

Job Description

/n

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Dispatch Officer to join our energetic and successful team. As a valued member of the production team and reporting directly to the Fleet Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

/n

/n

- Work closely with Production Supervisors and Coordinators to ensure equipment allocation is both optimised and prioritised to achieve planned objectives.

/n

- Continuously monitoring the mining fleet to capture information and ensure the availability of accurate real‐time data for the operations.

/n

- Liaising with the Production, Technical Services and Maintenance Departments to collect, validate, and report production statistics.

/n

- Monitor the radio communication system, geological radar, operator awareness and equipment high precision systems.

About You

/n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

/n

/n

- Previous experience and competencies operating large mining equipment.

/n

- Experience using Fleet Management Software (Dispatch 6, Pro Vision 3, Terrain)

/n

- High computer literacy skills

/n

- Strong leadership,



communication and interpersonal skills.

/n

- Developed understanding of risk management and safe work procedures.

/n

- Ability to work both autonomously and as a part of a team.

/n

- Previous experience in the industry.

/n

- Relevant qualifications

/n

- Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.

- Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
