Our client is in the market for a Senior Cloud Engineer to implement digitally enabled whole-of-government services that deliver simpler connected platforms.

- Contracted till EOFY with possibility of extension

- Based in Brisbane

This role would suit someone with a background in software development, strong AWS & CDK experience, and the ability to identify application impacts and changes to communicate them to the development team.

/n

Your day to day:

/n

/n

- Provide expert AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Dev Ops engineering services, supporting internal and external stakeholders in delivering secure, reliable cloud platforms.

/n

- Lead the development of cloud architecture solutions, providing technical guidance and presenting solution designs to stakeholders and customers.

/n

- Support Cloud and Dev Ops delivery,



including customer onboarding, cloud solution design, and the evaluation of emerging technologies.

/n

- Experience in developing solutions in disciplines such as Digital Identity, and API Data Sharing (e.g. financial grade APIs), including Developer Portals

/n

- Experience and solid understanding of Applications Development using up-to-date front-end frameworks and full stack approaches.

/n

- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Git Hub Actions, AWS Code Deploy, AWS Code Pipelines and strong AWS administrator skills (Infrastructure deployments, applications, software updates).

/n

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and recommendations to improve cloud platforms, infrastructure, and engineering practices.
