Delivery Centric is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer (Senior Engineering Lead) with strong expertise in .NET Core, microservices architecture, and up-to-date cloud-native engineering. This role focuses on leading the architecture, design, and hands-on delivery of large-scale enterprise systems, including Complaints Transformation programs.

You will work across engineering squads to define scalable solutions, drive technical excellence, and promote modern software engineering practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead architecture, design, and hands-on development of large-scale enterprise applications and transformation programs.
- Design and develop REST APIs and microservices using .NET Core.
- Build and optimize event-driven systems using Kafka and streaming platforms.
- Develop responsive frontend applications using HTML5, CSS, Java Script, and React or NextJS (preferred).
- Apply strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles in solution design.
- Architect and operate scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS or Azure (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native Dev Ops tooling.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and observability using tools such as Splunk, App Dynamics, or similar.
- Work with SQL Server, Oracle, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB for data persistence and optimization.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, driving best practices in software design, security, and scalability.




- Promote modern engineering standards and support continuous improvement across squads.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with solid expertise in .NET Core, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale enterprise systems.
- Solid frontend development skills in HTML5, CSS, Java Script, and React or NextJS.
- Deep understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and SOLID design principles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms and related services.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with Kafka or similar streaming/event-driven technologies.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to drive engineering excellence across multiple teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar.
- Exposure to AI-driven engineering practices and review-based development workflows.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data querying and validation.
- Experience in mobile application development (Android or iOS).
