Project Manager - Country Road Group (Fixed Term)

As the Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of new store openings, refurbishments, relocations and capital works across our retail portfolio. Working closely with Real Estate, Store Planning, Design and key business stakeholders, you will manage projects from concept through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will play a critical role in creating exceptional retail environments while coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to deliver seamless project outcomes.

Please note this is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.

How You Will Contribute

- Lead end-to-end delivery of current store, refurbishment and capital projects across the retail network
- Own project budgets, delivery plans and financial reconciliation to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, landlords and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage tender processes, evaluate submissions and negotiate project costs
- Obtain required approvals, permits and landlord consents to enable project delivery
- Monitor construction progress through regular site inspections, resolving issues and managing defects through to completion
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure stores are operationally ready for opening and refurbishment activities
- Drive clear communication across stakeholders while maintaining project documentation,



budgets and reporting
- Ensure all projects comply with workplace health and safety, building and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Capabilities We Value

- Proven experience delivering retail fit-out, refurbishment or construction projects from planning through to completion
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, tendering and contractor management
- Experience working with landlords, consultants, architects and external suppliers
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and construction documentation
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to make informed decisions
- Qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Design or a related discipline are highly regarded
- Retail project delivery experience will be highly regarded.
