Infosys Consulting is seeking an Enterprise Business Analyst - Senior Consultant to join our Digital Team. This role supports a key transformation program in the Australian electricity market.

Engagement

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end‑to‑end analysis for complex energy‑market initiatives, ensuring alignment with clients' operational and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Grid Operations, Market Operations, and IT teams to understand current‑state processes, systems, and data flows.
- Gather and define business, functional, and non‑functional requirements related to OT systems, SCADA, grid management applications, and control‑room tools.
- Support application modernisation activities, including process mapping, impact assessments, and solution validation.
- Develop high‑quality documentation (BRDs, user stories, process diagrams, business cases, analysis packs).
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders across the industry and participants.

Required Skills & Experience (Must‑Have)

- Proven experience in the Australian electricity sector, preferably with NEM‑focused organisations (e.g., networks, market operators, generators).
- Based in Melbourne or Sydney with the ability to attend on‑site sessions as required.
- Strong knowledge of electricity grid operations, OT environments, SCADA systems, telemetry, and control‑room applications.




- Robust technical background as a Business Analyst or Solution Architect, with exposure to application modernisation, integration, and transformation programs.
- Experience contributing to or delivering cybersecurity uplift projects within critical infrastructure contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver outcomes quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation and present to senior stakeholders.
- Australian Citizen with Baseline Security Clearance (non‑negotiable).
- Strong capability to engage senior client stakeholders and influence decision‑making.

Highly Desirable

- Experience with utilities platforms, market systems, or dispatch operations.
- Understanding of the National Electricity Rules (NER), procedures, and compliance obligations.
- Exposure to cloud modernisation, integration architecture, and data engineering concepts.
