I'm partnering with a well-established Top 100 firm that's called Melbourne home for over a century. They're not chasing size for the sake of it - around 100 staff, low turnover, and an office where people still know your name. If you've spent your career being one of many, this is the opposite of that.

They're after a charismatic, driven leader who's ready to talk Partnership - not just a talking point in a performance review. Someone who wants to build a career here, not pass through it. This firm has a genuine Partner conversation on the table within the next 3 years for the right person, and they're responsible about backing it up.

What you'll actually be doing:

/n

You'll wear a few hats - sometimes in the same afternoon:

/n

The juggler; running multiple audit engagements at once, each with its own deadlines, risks, and moving parts

/n

The fixer; solving the technical problems before they ever reach the Partner's desk

/n

The face; the person CFOs and Finance Directors deal with directly; trust is built (or lost) here

/n

The talent scout; mentoring Seniors and Associates, shaping who eventually makes Partner after you

/n

The dealmaker; spotting where the relationship can grow beyond audit, because commercial instinct matters here

/n





The gatekeeper; the final check before financials go to the board; your sign-off carries real weight

/n

Who you'll be working with:

/n

This isn't a Big 4 logo-collecting exercise. You'll be working closely with clients who want a relationship with you, not a rotating cast of contacts. If you'd rather know your clients properly than manage another spreadsheet of names, this will make sense to you.

The details:

$155,000 – $175,000 inclusive of super (dependent on experience)
