The Opportunity An established civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join its Perth-based team, supporting the successful delivery of infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

Based in the Wangara head office, you'll work closely with estimating, engineering and project delivery teams, playing a key role in developing tender programmes, establishing project schedules and monitoring progress throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers excellent variety, with involvement across multiple concurrent projects spanning the civil, transport, defence and resources sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop tender and construction programmes using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Establish project baselines and maintain accurate construction schedules throughout delivery
- Monitor programme performance,



identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Prepare progress reports, look-ahead programmes and schedule updates for internal and client reporting
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Estimators to ensure programmes accurately reflect construction methodologies and project scope
- Assist with work breakdown structures, sequencing, resource planning and commissioning schedules where required
- Review subcontractor and third-party programmes, identifying potential impacts to delivery
- Support project teams in achieving programme milestones while maintaining safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients through proactive communication and team-oriented planning

About You You'll be an organised and proactive planner who enjoys working across multiple projects and collaborating with delivery teams to achieve successful outcomes.
You will ideally possess:

- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- 3+ years' experience in a Project Planning role within civil construction, infrastructure or resources
- Experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project




- Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, project sequencing and scheduling principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Australian working rights
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
